Winter Vacation

It’s winter in New York. The ice and snow storms may not be here yet but they will come. However, the temps are dropping, especially at night. So, when the weather becomes too inhospitable outside for the billions of insects and millions of rodents… what do they do? Well, many insects simply die and just leave behind eggs and egg casings for their offspring to emerge in the spring. Other insects, act like migrating birds; they take off to warmer regions, only to return when warmer weather patterns shift back north.
